Three projects shortlisted at the Housing Design Awards

Posted on 17 April 2024

The Housing Design Awards celebrate the best new places to live across the UK so we are very pleased to announce that three of our projects have been shortlisted for an award this year.

Swanley High Street is a mixed-use development that brings together a co-working space/business hub and 17 new homes. It makes productive re-use of a vacant town centre site, and is a model for local authorities looking to take control of assets in their area to drive regeneration, support local workers and businesses, and deliver new homes.

Cosway Street forms part of Westminster City Council’s Church Street masterplan programme, and will provide a significant dowry to fund its social, economic, and cultural aspirations. Open-plan homes are generously-sized, and maximise daylighting and private outdoor amenity space. A shared courtyard garden is inspired by traditional London squares, and provides private amenity space alongside visual amenity for the surrounding area.

Church Street is one of London’s largest estate regeneration schemes. Once complete it will provide 1,120 new homes (50% of which will be affordable) alongside new retail and workspace,  a library, a community hub, new green spaces and upgraded infrastructure to support Church Street Market. The scheme incorporates an engaging public realm and an abundance of accessible green space with routes threaded throughout the development.
