Info

Planning consent has been granted for 103 homes and a GP hub across two sites for Sixty Bricks in Waltham Forest. The developments will provide 50% affordable homes (30% social rent) on former brownfield sites adjacent to railway lines.
The Essex Close site comprises dual-aspect flats which are accommodated within four blocks, giving on to a central communal garden, with brick gable elevations that acknowledge the form and brickwork details of the surrounding Warner Houses.
South Grove will terminate a new public open space to the east and anticipates a new proposed public space to the west. A GP hub on the first two floors will provide an active frontage to these two new spaces.
The two projects draw inspiration from the Warner Estate incorporating brick detailing that echoes the 19th century development.
