RIBA Stage 1

Bell Phillips Architects has been selected by London Borough of Hounslow and residents for the first stage of work to develop proposals for a masterplan on the Convent Way Estate leading to a public ballot. Our proposals will comprise around 1,000 homes, new shops and community facilities, much improved public realm including play, sports and recreation space. The new design will foster a high quality of life for residents, create a cohesive and safe community and will be highly sustainable in line with zero carbon policies.
We were selected following a competitive process comprising a design competition and engagement with local residents.. We are currently in the process of developing the design proposals alongside the council and residents leading to a public ballot in the Summer. If a ‘yes’ vote is secured, this will pave the way for the development to proceed to more detailed design, planning and phased construction over the
coming years.
