Southwark Park Pavilion scoops New London Award
We’re absolutely delighted that Southwark Park Pavilion has picked up the Wellbeing Award at the New London Awards.
The pavilion, for Southwark Council, consolidates park offices, a cafe and public WCs into a single building overlooking the lake. The gently sweeping facades in white brick orientate the building towards the lake, children’s playground and playing fields and are generated by the curvature of the lake and surrounding trees.
Jury member, Eleanor Sharpe, described the pavilion as a “Lovely gem in a public space that is a delight to happen upon.”
