Granary Square Pavilion shortlisted in New London Awards

We’re delighted that the Granary Square Pavilion in King’s Cross has been shortlisted in the Placemaking category of the New London Awards 2020. The pavilion, for Argent, incorporates a cafe, public washrooms, public lift and public realm that completes the southern corner of Granary Square.

The cladding is constructed of cast iron that extends up to form the balustrade to the public space. The decorative castings echo the molecular structure of coal on which the industrial heritage of the area is founded.
