New sports centre for Burgess Park
Planning consent has been granted for our new sports pavilion in Burgess Park, Southwark. The pavilion will incorporate changing facilities and a cafe as part of a masterplan for the park by LDA Design that will incorporate new football, rugby and cricket pitches.
The design comprises a linear single-storey pavilion with a roof that tapers towards the entrance doors. The building is clad in faceted perforated metal that will give it a robust facade with a delicate shimmering appearance.
