BeFirst selects Bell Phillips Architects for new housing in Dagenham
We’re delighted to be appointed by BeFirst to deliver new homes on a vacant site in Dagenham. Preliminary proposals envisage houses and flats arranged around a communal courtyard.
BeFirst is a company established by Barking and Dagenham to increase opportunities for local people and to ensure that residents benefit from new development with ambitious targets for new homes, better infrastructure and jobs.
Pat Hayes, Managing Director of BeFirst, said “I’m excited to be able to make these appointments, particularly because each of these radically different plans, places a similar emphasis on top notch design and practicality at the same time. Working with architects like these, who understand the borough, we can be certain of building high quality, affordable homes for local people.”
We will be working with BeFirst and the local community to bring proposals forward with a view to starting construction in 2019.
