Bracelet Close receives Commendation at Civic Trust Awards
Bracelet Close in Corringham, Essex has been awarded a Commendation at the Civic Trust Awards. The project provides twelve new affordable family houses on a former garage site for Thurrock Council. The project seeks to make sense of the surrounding post-war estate by arranging the houses around a shared communal courtyard. Roof terraces offer views across the surrounding countryside while double height living spaces draw light into the houses despite the adjacent retaining wall.
